When it comes to lighting, we're using the natural lighting that comes from the school atmosphere. We also focus on brightening the lightning whenever there's a thought bubble around a specific character to emphasize their thoughts. Especially when they meet the main girl in the story, Jahnya.. And as the editor, it is my role to maintain the color and lighting continuity. For example, example cuts between Christian and Janiya must match in tone and both perspectives must feel like part of the same moment.
By carefully managing the lighting in color, we can ensure that each scene not looks appealing, but also communicates to an emotional level of the story. These visual elements help with pacing sound and shot composition to create a polished engaging film.
