Post production #5
One of the best part of our film was the funny moments that we had on set even though we were trying to stay focused things didn't always go plan and we always had a little laugh at something. One moment in particular stand out when we started laughing.
When filming a scene in the hallway, everybody was in the right position and ready to go as we started recording someone in the background accidentally walked through the shot at the wrong time. Then another person forgot their line and began laughing, which quickly caused everyone else to start laughing as well. Once one person started laughing. It was impossible for anyone to stay focused.
We had to stop filming and reset the scene, but no one was frustrated moments like this actually help relieve stress and make the process more enjoyable. It reminded us that mistakes are normal and that it's OK to laugh and have fun while working.
This funny moment showed us that even though filming can be stressful, a positive attitude and strong teamwork can make a big difference. It became one of our favorite memories of making the film and it was something we always remember.

The film portrays teenagers in a simple and realistic way. The characters are just everyday students in this setting, which makes the story feel believable and relatable. There are no exaggerated, personalities or stereotypes. Just ordinary people experiencing a small awkward reaction the girl Jahnya is shown open and expressive, but also a little awkward, particularly discussing when Gianni encounters her in contrast, the other boys, quiet more reserved highlighting how individual can respond differently to a different situation
Overall, the film present teenagers as ordinary and genuine students focus, focusing on small real life moment rather than dramatic events. This approach allows the audience to connect with the students and gain insight into their different personalities.
Post production #3 mise-en-scene
mise-en-scene our film kept a simple and realistic. The setting is an empty school hallway with plain walls and bright overhead lights without lockers and other students. The space feels quiet but slightly tensing, which makes interaction better between the two characters and makes them stand down more.
The characters wear every day school clothes feeling the scene natural feel and relatability we use minimal props, but we use props such as backpacks and books and iPads to suggest the presence of the characters without distracting them from the moment their body language, pausing suddenly looking on share or hesitantly, speaking conveyed awkwardness between the encounter, the lighting comes from the overhead lights in the hallways, remaining bright throughout the whole scene.
This gives natural lighting, making the film feel more realistic overall, the simple mise-en-scene draws attention to the characters and demonstrate how a small quiet moment can carry emotional weight on the otherwise ordinary space.

The color and lighting in his film cup, simple to match setting. The hallway features neutral tone of orange white, and a little bit of gray, which kept a plain and calm atmosphere because these muted colors kept the audience focused on the characters rather than the background.
The lighting comes from the schools overhead bulbs, producing a bright, but slightly flat look the absence of dramatic shadows makes the scene feel realistic and grounding in everyday life even this lighting, enhances, the awkward pauses of the hallway between the characters, emphasizing the subtle tension that they feel
Overall, the use of the simple natural lighting helps establish a calm realistic mood. It forces the idea that the moment is small but meaningful taking place during an ordinary school day, but still carrying emotional weight.

The film was shot with an actual camera, which gave it more polish in a professional look compared to using a phone or a basic recording device using a real camera. Allow us to get sharper imaging car, better camera focus, and better flexibility with framing and composition. this is especially important for close-up shots and small facial expression in some reaction needed to be captured clearly.
the camera work was kept simple to match the natural tone of the scenes. Some shots were hand how to create a slight sense of motion and realism, while others were filmed, using a tripod or stable surface to keep from moving the frame.
Using the camera also made it easier to manage light lighting and exposure. The bright hallway lights were captured very clearly and gave it a natural consistent look throughout the film. Overall, this decision to use a proper camera help the short film, feel more professional.
