As the edited in the group, I realize I need to take the lead in organizing our material planning on how the film will come together visually one of the biggest challenge was creating a storyboard and shoot list without relying on everyone being available at the same time at first I suggested each member start their own storyboard so that we can merge ideas during meetings. Unfortunate. This didn't work out as planned.
Taking this initiative as the editor I've been able to to move the project further despite scheduling challenges, ensuring that visual story is good and found in foundation that will be collaborative and more effective than group meetings. It also helped me develop my skills in shock planning, and critically thinking about how visual elements like color, composition and shot selection can influence the film.
